Walker Architects hired ANAMAR Environmental Consulting to provide National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) Section 106 compliance services supporting the construction of a new 16-acre Fire Operations Center at Big Cypress National Preserve in Ochopee, Florida.

ANAMAR participated in a two-day onsite project kickoff meeting and site visit at the Big Cypress National Preserve Headquarters Complex. ANAMAR then produced an Environmental Assessment (EA) that conformed to the NEPA process and addressed the proposed siting and construction of the Fire Operations Center and associated facilities. All public-facing documents produced were ADA Section 508 compliant.
